Society should be colorblind. Categorizing people by race is racist. We are all Americans, free to embrace our ancestory and culture, yet we are all equal by law. Any categorization is a form of bias, promoting victimhood.
How has affirmative action worked out? Malcolm X said: 'The White liberal is the worst enemy'. Getting ahead is enough of a challenge without being led to believe you don't have a chance because of how you were born. We have many successful, inspirational Americans who happen to have diverse ethnic backgrounds. Chances are,
they had to work a bit harder. They deserve praise for their accomplishment, for who they are. The concept of equity hiring must be so annoying to those who got ahead on their effort and merit.
Those who feel wronged should be able to plead their case to accessible arbitration.
